Started climbing in 1974 in North Wales. First redpoints of sport routes in 1987. Moved out to the south of France in 1999. I prefer going to new areas and having new challenges. My weakness is I get easily bored trying the same route for too long.

Best Climbing Experience
4 month trip to the US in 1993. Gogarth obsession in 1989 and 1990. Malham and Gordale summer 1990. Almscliffe bouldering with the lads. Right Wall 1979; Lord 1983; The Bells and Hollow Man 1990; Mortal Kombat 2005; Kalymnos trip, including Fun de Chichunne (8a on-sight 2013).
