Lucky enough to have been taken to the crag as a kid by my folks in the late '80s and early '90s (still scarred by seeing my old man in lycra...) Got (back?) into climbing again in 2008, mostly on gritstone trad in the Peak. Lack of partners who are into that sort of thing these days and a lack of wheels has seen me boulder a lot more these last 2 years, which I've come to really love too. That said, get in touch if you're wanting to get out from my part of the country - I bake a good loaf and could sort you a butty for the journey!
Fell running is increasingly taking up my time out in the Peak too - Hope Valley line gets me to some great spots, the feeling of just having fell kit on (plus some decent butties in me sac) is cracking and I seem to be half decent at it so far!
Best Climbing Experience
The smell of moorland pathways and bracken in the summer heat whilst walking to gritstone edges will forever remind me of being a child.
Interests Outside Climbing
Allotment gardening (particularly growing edible and unusual perenials)
Making country wine
Knitting (yes, honestly...)
Anything Else We Should Know
A bit slack on filling out my log book. Spend a lot of time contemplating routes in guidebooks with a mug of carob these days...
