I've been climbing since 1990. My local crag is wharnderful Wharncliffe. I love the woods and the gnarl of the place. Been teaching climbing for 13 years to school pupils and those that don't run away. Big mountain routes are just brilliant and I don't get on them enough but as long as my fingers are crystal wrapped I'm happy.
Best Climbing Experience
Is an impossible question. . So many shared emotional peaks.. looks, laughs, discoveries, stomps, eeries, triumphs. Friends for life etched from stone. And then, too? many personal intimacies where just the rock is in dialogue with me, creating elation through touch and movement, fear and certainty.
