BMC Bolting Workshop - South Wales
Place - Ferndale
When - Saturday 7th June, 11 am
Keen to place bolts, but don’t know how? Or do you know the score, but want to pass on your hard won skills to the next generation? This workshop is the ideal forum to learn more, exchange ideas, and maybe recruit fellow partners in crime.

In reply to Dan Middleton, BMC:
This event has been cancelled due to lack of interest. We will run one in the future if there is enough interest. Apologies to those who wanted to come. |

In reply to Dan Middleton, BMC: Is there potential for a Peak based workshop? Whilst I have no association with the Peak Bolt Fund, it appears that one of the main constraints to using funds is the number of people capable of bolting safely. I for one, would be keen to spend a few days putting something into peak sport climbing by rebolting a few routes, if I had the knowledge to do so.

Yes, there is potential. Jon Fulwood of the Peak Bolt Fund mentioned the possibility, as he has bolts and drills but is struggling with time and lack of people to help. If there is enough interest, I can do one at Horseshoe or similar. Or, you could take up Gary's kind offer to become his young apprentice!
