/ North Wales Camping
I usually seem to end up camping at Gwern Gof Isaf farm on the A5. About a fiver a night. It has washing up sinks and a few bogs in sheds, and showers for 50p a go. Does the job pretty well really, can't complain about the price, and it's in a lovely setting.
It also has a bunkhouse if you don't want to camp.
Theres also another at the foot of snowdon just by start of ranger path called LLyn Gwynant campsite, good facilities and another cracking location.
I would go for YHA Idwal cottage, but then again I might be a bit biased.
Micro brewery pub on site which did good food and beer was ace.
Probably should have mentioned looking for campsites along A55 route as this is where we will be climbing!
Anywhere Colwyn Bay area suggestions welcome!
