Hi All,

We found a pretty cool potential line @ Rhoscolyn the other day. From a traverse in on the LHS of the cave it's possibly to gain a roof crack which _could_ take you all the way back out again.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdfqXGutJsE gives an idea of the line. With kneepads it might be possible to get enough out of the kneebar to figure out the next section... I wimped out as I was too scared of falling out head-first - would probably feel less committing with a higher tide.

Have a go if you're in the area (or maybe it's been done)?

In reply to quiffhanger: Looks good and steep. How hard does it look?

In reply to Juran CoC: No idea. Probably ~F7b as far as I got although might start to feel considerably easier once it gets a bit more chalk on it.

I'm at Gogarth next weekend, will certainly give that a look, sounds awesome! Any estimations as to how hard the whole thing is, and how high? Cheers

In reply to quiffhanger: Is that the thing that comes up under Electric Blue? If so, I think it got done last year?? Or maybe it's a parallel line...

In reply to TomPR:

It does come up under Electric Blue but from the left side of the cave.

I guess you mean this: http://news.v12outdoor.com/2011/06/13/epic-rhoscolyn-dws-project-falls-to-dan-mcmanus/ ? We actually went to Rhoscolyn to give it a shot but the tide v low making the start a little too exciting.

In reply to Joughton: between 4 & 7m high depending on tide. No idea how hard. Anything from f7b - impossible :)
