/ Is it wet in Keswick right now?
I wouldn't bother unless you just fancy a bike ride.
I'm in Kendal so don't know what it's actually like in Borrowdale, but I was there last week and it was dripping wet underneath the overhangs of the Bowderstone. Funnily enough when the rain stopped we retreated to Shepherds to do Little Chamonix in the wet and the top two pitches were bone dry!
In Cockermouth, patio is damp, and the fells I can normally see are in very low cloud. On the other hand, my husband has disappeared climbing in borrowdale straight from work, and not yet returned in disgust. Of course, he may simply be in the wall. Or pub....
Rain here too. I think we can probably conclude Borrowdale is damp....
Its not looking any better for next few days either.... Friday if we are lucky.
