Instead of taking a dedicated camcorder to the Annapurna Circuit I'm thinking of using the video function on my still camera and use one memory card specifically for video.

Any advice on what size memory card to get please?

In reply to mypyrex:

Get a few smaller ones, they are small and you are spreading the risk of losing a card or having a card failure. Also why dedicate one to video, you don't want to be messing about changing cards every five minutes.

In reply to mypyrex: Agreed, buy several smaller ones. Go for decent quality, I use sandisk and they are very good, never had one fail. Do not buy from Ebay as there are lots of fakes being sold. Amazon are pretty good regards price.

In reply to mypyrex: go for a 8gb or 16gb theres a few powersellers on ebay that sell them for a tenner, just make sure they are located in the uk
