More of a mountaineer than climber but need to improve my ice climbing following a recent exped.

Only ever climbed on a glacier in new zealand, with a guide,

Any recommendations for any guiding companies?

Cheers

Owen Samuel at Ibex guides is great:

He is a full British Mountain Guide and I can't recommend him enough.

If you are booking and ice climbing course (rather than general winter mixed climbing), I would recommend somewhere with more reliable conditions. Have you considered Norway?

In reply to aujayeb: Id recommend Alan Halewood, based in Lochaber. Great guy and has his finger on the pulse with regard to conditions.

In reply to aujayeb: I am also looking to spend a few days with a guide to get into winter climbing. I have met Owen and have some other details too. Some of these guys are happy to jump at the last minute when conditions are good. It wood be great if I cold find one other person to share the cost of the days training. Wold you be interested in that?
