/ Job Vacancy: Assistant Manager
The successful applicant’s primary responsibility will be to assist the Branch Manager of Outside at The Square in the overseeing of sales of outdoor equipment, clothing and footwear to the company’s customers and to provide assistance in the supervision of the overall organisation of the branch.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a successful record of applying their skills to meet sales and cost targets and will have experience in the supervision, development, training and motivation of staff. The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate the highest levels of customer care and will be adept at organising special events such as in-store promotions, supplier days and product evaluation clinics. The successful applicant will also have a flair for visual merchandising.

Salary £16,005 p.a. (25 days holiday plus bank holidays)
Hours Full time, 5 days per week (including weekends)
