Tom Phillips completed a clockwise winter tour of the Ramsey Round (Scottish Highlands) in a time of 26 hours 57 minutes between 6pm Wednesday 11th and 8.57pm Thursday 12th December. This sets a new winter record for the round by about 3 hours. He was supported by two runners for various parts of the round but ran solo for about 9 hours, including the section from 10pm to 3am. Weather was very settled and clear with temperatures constantly below zero. Snow conditions ranged from firm neve to powder with lots of ice on paths.
well done Tom!
