/ Best photos of 2012
I have made a collection of my 10 best photos from the last year. Most of them are about climbing and mountians so thought I would share it:
Anybody else out there, that have gathered the best of last year? Feel free to put up a link here.
Ulrik and Nadir, some wonderful photos from both of you :) Superb work, thanks for sharing it.
Nice set Ulrik,
Here's my best shot of Jan 2013 ! Took this shot of an Iranian boatman right after his morning prayers early this week in Dubai. He was lost in his thoughts with his beads.
I make a little gallery of my 12 favourites from each year. They are chosen for personal reasons rather than any technical or "universal appeal" reasons.
This time I have deliberately put no commentary on them and hopefully the EXIF data doesn't show either.
Wow. Your photo of Himmelswillen makes it look epic!
If it was in your gallery here I'd give it a 5. :o)
Oh - it is. Well then. :o)
Thanks, I was pleased with it to some extent but it's a bit overexposed/bleached out and the climber is in soft focus. To be honest it made my top 12 more because I'd scored a bargain on the camera (Fujifim Silvi) - I try to avoid putting pics in based upon collector-scum credentials but I indulged myself here! I did set out to make the route look big, though I had expected the better shots to come from when the climber was closer to me. This was my favourite of the Himmelswillen set though.
If you like film, look up the Fujifilm Silvi (aka "Zoom Date f/2.8"). 24-50mm lens in a compact package :-)
