Topic - B2 boots in 49: to be made on request @ the factory?? Help!

Hi everyone
I am looking for a pair of B2 boots to winter climb in the Cairngorms and I normally wear size 48 / 13 in street shoes. And my right foot is half a European size up - 48.5 :/
I have read somewhere that for B2 / B3 boots you need to go one size up... But the problem is that it is impossible in the whole of the UK - I have looked at lots of specialized shops online - to get such size, I mean either 13 1/2 or 14, 48 1/2 or 49.
I have been told I may have to have them made at the factory and I will have to pay for them beforehand. They are so expensive I cannot afford to do this, in case they don't fit!!
I was wondering your ideas about which boots to wear when you have big and not narrow feet like me? I usually need room in the toe cap!
I would appreciate any advice you can give and would be very grateful :)
Best regards
