 Topic - Latest on road conditions near Dolgelleau

Hi,
I am supposed to be driving from London to Fairbourne in n Wales tonight and was wondering what road conditions are like around the Welshpool area going in towards the Dinas Pass and Dolgelleau? I know south Wales have got it pretty bad, and I am keeping up to date through the BBC Travel news. I am driving a front wheel drive transit van too so am just wary of getting caught out.
Does anyone no what it is like in this area? I'm all kitted out for a winter bivvy so worse case scenario I can doss in the back of the van with a warming Wayfarer!
