Any one know what the snow cover is like in the Cheviots now after today's snowfall? Enough cover for skiing without trashing skis?

We're about 30 miles SW of there and I could ski for miles so I would imagine you'd be ok.

Thanks for the info. I guessed as much. Hopefully it will still be there this weekend and the sun will shine!

Took advantage of a window in the weather early Saturday morning and this was the result. A rare treat indeed!

Hi there

Anybody know if there is any snow left on the cheviot. Thinking of a ski tour? Here's hoping

In reply to Rodmoly: That is a beautiful video. Great effort. Worth entering into Kendal Film Festival I reckon, better than lots of the films they showed last year.

In reply to ablackett: Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Days like that are rare as hens teeth!
