/ Photos of injuries
yeah ive got some great ones of my hands from rope burns when i fell 20m
Oh yeah, I remember the one you posted - was a good'un.
I did have one of the tendons in my finger, but think I binned it now, I'll have a look though.
There's a good one on here of that John Rushby fella covered in blood from an ice axe to the face I think...
Pm me and I can send a photo of my shin scar where I managed to slip my foot off a hold and rip the skin off and go down to the bone about 6years ago
I might be prepared to send you a photo of me after I faceplanted a rock in the Cairngorms a few years ago, if you'd like to explain what your research is. Feel free to PM me.
I will see if I can find the injury of when my mate nearly lost his arm at a climbing wall.
Its one of those 1:1,000,000 injuries where the rope falls around the bicep moments before they fall off the route and the rope cuts into their arm. Plastic surgery was required along with many doctors taking photos for their own amusement, cough, education.
Feking scary event, and one which thankfully resulted in him keeping his arm.
First cabin porn and now this.. is there a full moon tonight?
I've one of my mates foot after he slipped out of a heel hook and sliced his shoe off, giving him a nice 3" gash on his heel !
I'll email via your pm
Send me your email and i will try to dig them out later tonight.
Was just the start of a bit of an epic...
Might have a picture of my x-rayed leg before and after op (when it was in 8 pieces!)
Broken foot any good for you?
Let me know if you need any info!
Want pics of tracheotomy scars? Or more gratuitous injuries? (I'm too squeamish to look at the links up the page).
What's the research you're doing?
> What's the research you're doing?
Hmm, that's a question which has been asked before in this thread, yet Mita seems to be deliberately ignoring it - come on Mita, what exactly is the nature of your "research"?
Uploaded this just for you! Cold crystalline granite is quite sharp. I didn't notice how the gash across the length of my finger came to be as my hands were numb with the cold wind that was blowing, It wouldn't stop bleeding for most of the day though.
It's always good to carry a basic first aid kit. I always do.
cut through the middle of my patella tendon leaving a it barely connected.
Glad it can serve some useful purpose :)
