I'm selling a pair of Raichle All Degree Pro GTX boots in size 4.5 for a friend. They are B3 boots and have only been worn twice before finding they don't fit, by one very careful owner.
This owner has polished these boots everyday since the date of purchase and is totally infatuated with their awesome leather which is literally as soft as a babies bottom. Upon her climb of the Hidden Chimney, the owner exclaimed 'mind yer fud' whilst jumping for joy. Such a legend in the climbing world. Anyway, getting back to these sexy as shoes. They are truly a bargain and despite being 'as new', the owner has climbed extensively with them in Glen Coe, but amazingly there is no sign of use since Debs Baby, the lady in question, floats on the snow. Crampons have never been fitted and the tread is in as new condition. You can see them in this pic: sport.popina.cz/images/raichle_all_degree_pro_gtx.jpg
They are perfect for winter climbing in Scotland or for climbing in the Alps both on long rock routes or for mixed/ice climbing. They are also great for fancy dress during a 'red' themed night, or to climb Everest if you don't mind the odd bit of superficial frostnip.
Quite frankly these are the perfect boot for you (as long as you have size 4.5 feet)(or smaller and are willing to wear multiple socks). Being a lady is also advantageous but not essential. These will also make a great wedding/valentines or general I'm-sorry-forgive-me present for your lass.
If you want to see an exceptionally modest blurb about these revolutionary boots, look no further than below, in every other case, just know that Ueli would probably wear these if only he had smaller feet (but now favors wearing his Scarpa's to slow him down - thus making north face climbs just a little more challenging, and avoiding obvious criticisms from the use of these performance enhancing beauties)...
Gore-Tex® liners make these boots waterproof yet breathable, for comfort in a variety of conditions
Compatible with strap-on style crampons
Gussets at tongue help keep out scree and trail debris, water and mud
To-the-toe lacing allows for a precise and adjustable climbing-shoe type fit
Motion Control Concept uses flex zones and stabilizers to control foot movement inside boots for enhanced comfort and stability
Combination EVA and polyurethane midsoles are durable and shock absorbing, providing mile after mile of cushioned comfort
Carbon midsole shanks create torsional rigidity for enhanced stability on uneven and rocky ground
Vibram® Mulaz outsoles offer excellent grip, stability and durability; high rubber rands also provide protection against abrasion
Thanks for looking. |
