/ Stob Coire nam Beith - Miniature Gully
Can anyone give me any details or photos on Miniature Gully route and conditions. Looking to ski something in Glencoe this weekend if the snow settles, though probably will be a route for later in the season I execpt.
Is it in the centre of the 6th photo on this page? http://glencoemountaineer.blogspot.co.uk/2010_11_01_archive.html
Also any details on the summit gully route and conditions?
Yes, that's the gully. I climbed it a few years ago although it seems likely others had done it before and never bothered recording it (no idea what name it goes under in the SMC records; Andy Nisbet will know).
The couloir can vary between steepish and icy or uncomplicated and snowy. When I climbed it the route was I/II but I've seen others call it II/III before. It's also very narrow near the top. No idea about current conditions!
Thanks for the info.
Will aim for Broad Gully then have a look over at the condition of miniature.
