/ Summer sport crags in France and North East Spain
Ideally we're looking at staying at shady campsites near to awesome cliffs that get loads of shade/are north facing. If rivers/ lakes/ pools nearby that is a bonus too.
We're completely flexible as far as where to go and were wondering if anyone had any good pointers...
It's also right by a river.
Gorge du Loup...? Shady crags, fun river to dick about in, high up and breezy, but close to the Med, great routes.
It's a nice place, pretty stable weather and plenty to do.
Enjoy wherever you end up!
I've got a friend who lives in a little hamlet right by that those crags, that was an option...
Gorge du Loup, Ariege, Briancon all sound good.
What's Ceuse like in August? Is the campsite shady?
