 Topic - Mountain tent advice

My Terra Nova (actually original Wild Country) Hyperspace has died, the flysheet disintegrating from the ravages of UV over the years. The costof a replacemnt fly is massive considering the inner (esp groundsheet) may have limited life too; so I'm looking for a replacement.
Most use will be for car camping but will also need to stand up to more demanding use occasionally -eg pabbay/Mingulay, Greenland, Alps etc.
Default choice would seem to be a TN Quasar but I would be interested to know of alternatives with similar spec, hopefully a bit cheaper?
