Hello,

I have just started to build an online presence on facebook, flickr and 500px i.e. https://www.facebook.com/ChrisWeedonPhotography

The next step is it build a dedicated website so I am looking for recommendations for creating an online portfolio with a shopping cart facility.

I stared looking at zenfolio and clikpic, but I'm quite drawn to Photocrati.

What do you recommend?

Thanks,

Chris

Can't comment on the others but I have used Clikpic for over a year now and they've been excellent. Any time I've got in touch with a technical query they have got back to me very quickly. No plans to go anywhere else.

If I was to change it'd probably be to set up a portfolio via Wordpress.

In reply to Chris Weedon: I used photocrati for my wife's site. www.victoriahartphotography.com
I'm really pleased with it. Very customisable and easy to set up and manage. Good shopping cart too.

In reply to ankyo: I'm using 1&1 and finding it really easy to use, my site (www.site-fit.co.uk)is just a basic one but you can update it with shopping carts etc etc.

In reply to ankyo: Thanks - good to hear positive feedback and being a wordpress template gives me confidence for the future.
