The Winter Sun Hoody is simply the ultimate cold weather jacket for walkers and climbers.
A belay jacket combining the best attributes of high-loft insulation and breathable windproof soft shell, for use in full-on conditions when any winter sun is likely to be hidden by spindrift!
The double-weave polyester shell has exceptional water-and-wind-resistance, the stitch-free seams improve wet-weather performance, and the 100g PrimaLoft® Eco insulation provides superior compressibility and warmth, even if it gets wet. A hidden stretch panel across the upper back enhances mobility, reinforcements line the sides, and the jacket now has a three-way adjustable, helmet-compatible hood. One small zipped internal security pocket and two zipped handwarmer pockets. Touch Point System embedded cord locks in the hood and hem for quick adjustment without opening the jacketLow-profile self-fabric cuffs and a drawcord hem.
Outer: 2.8oz Gore Windstopper® 100% nylon.
Insulation: 100g PrimaLoft® Eco 100% polyester (50% recycled).
Lining: 1.4oz 20-denier 100% polyester ripstop.
NB This jacket is designed for cold, snowy conditions and is not fully waterproof, but it is still a cracking bit of kit!
