In reply to death drop:

If you're based in the south of England (or willing to travel), you can fly direct from Stansted. A couple of days ago a return was ~85

In reply to death drop: this may be helpfull if you cant find one. i ve used the easy jet athens - stanstead flight a couple of times when my kalymnos trips have fallen outside the kos charter window. getting back to the lakes in the middle of the night proved to be a complete a*se and a possible deal breaker (for then girlfriend, now wife). the only remotely do able way was one way car hire from stanstead, which, although expensive allowed the trips to happen for me.

In reply to death drop: No worries. For information, the last ferry waits for the Ryanair flight passengers to turn up at the dockside.
