 Topic - New to bouldering? Boulder centre bhamAny

Hi guys I'm new to bouldering and wanting to understand more. Mainly to use as training for routes. But I'm very interested in getting into it a lot more.
Wanting to know if some one would take me under there wing and show me the ropes. I live 5mins from boulder central and I am a member of creation bham?
Any help would be appreciated and I would like to make a regular bouldering/climbing partner I climb routes between 5-5+ and max out at about 6a.
