/ Online mapping for other countries.

So in this country you have got multimap where you can find 1:50k mapping for the whole of the UK. Which can be very useful for planning purposes when away from home or wanting to explore new areas, particularly linked in to satellite images etc.

Do people know of any other sites for other countries? I have found sites for France and Switzerland. Listed as the first Link here - https://www.facebook.com/rockandwateradventures

Although you might know it this could be of interest to others. For Switzerland I use http://map.geo.admin.ch/ which allows you to switch gradually from map to satellite and you can get down to 1:5000 which is good for searching for weaknesses when crossing ridges. No more info is included than on the 1:25000 but contour reading of steep ground is easier

Haven't tested the links recently but the trick was to not search in english.

Free and absolutely incredible detail down to ~ 1:5k or less. I believe there is also a Norgeskart app for phones.
