Im heading up to the Cairngorms to climb on Thursday and Friday. Any word on conditions in the gullies (up to grade III/IV). Also looking at some of the easier buttress lines.

Has a late afternoon/early evening jaunt into Coire An t-Sneachda and climbed Mirror Direct and continued on up to join Aladdin's Mirror. Route was in stonking nick although the pitch of ice is spicy for the grade. Great climbing though on first time placements and good ice screws. Snow above was rock hard and sunny in the early evening sun. Bliss.
