Taking the dog over to france for the first time in a few weeks and wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to go, vets wise, for the vaccination in france before we come back. Idea of price would be fantastic too,

Thanks, Laura

Which vaccination and why do you want it done out there rather than before you go?

In reply to timjones:
Treatment against tapeworm, prior to return to UK.
From Defra webapges:

Step 5 Tapeworm treatment (dogs only) before entering the UK, all pet dogs (including assistance dogs) must be treated for tapeworm. The treatment must be administered by a vet not less than 24 hours and not more than 120 hours (1-5 days) before its scheduled arrival time in the UK. There is no mandatory requirement for tick treatment. No treatment is required for dogs entering the UK from Finland, Ireland, Malta or Norway).

In reply to timjones: She has had her vaccination for rabies when she got her passport, how the system currently works is that you then go to a vets in country just before you come home and she has a booster and anything additional that she may need over there. Just looking for anyone who has taken a dog before and knows a good one :)

In reply to Laura-lou: its not another vaccine she gets, just a tapeworm tablet. You have it at the vet so they can sign she has had it. They have species of worm in Europe we don't have here.
