/ Cairngorm MTN Rescue on Adventure Show Tonight
It would be quicker for me to drive to Scotland than use iplayer with my internet connection! lol.
Not enough actual rescue stuff on the hill.
Night rescue footage - no reflective stripes on hoods, helmets, jackets like canoe or bike kit, would that help ?
Loved the quote ' The visibility's down to feet as opposed to ... tens of feet'.
Yes it was very well put together. Brought back a couple of tough memories and I realised I'd been avoiding Coire an t-Sneachda. Need to put that to bed and head back in there soon.
I want to go see the Snowy Owl!

Seemed to me there was a lot of wandering around in a blizzard in the dark searching in the wrong area. I'm guessing this is a fairly accurate reflection of the effort involved for the team members.
I think so. Not sure if its been seen within the last couple of weeks though.

Official winner of UKC armchair smartarse expert of 2013 is.................Scott_vzr. Congratulations!
> Ooh! Is it still about?
Yes, apparently so, living off Ptarmigan and other things so I'm told..!
A good view and insight into the current team...!
A veritable geeks outing. If we're not careful that lot from Glenmore Lodge will follow us and give us wedgies and nick our lunches.
The snowy owl was spotted and photographed yesterday by a member of this forum!
Here's the iplayer link:
Great programme and well presented. I have a copy of the "Inside Story" programme from 1995 also and this is very similar.

Very much agree. Just watched it and I really appreciated the non-media-hype stance that it was presented with.
