In reply to Stanners: Not a bad video, but at times some really badly made belays!
Stanners - on 07 May 2013
In reply to Stanners:
cheers lads, really enjoyed putting it all together :) less said about the belays the better!

In reply to Stanners:

yeah cool, good having the three cameras. Who was the ground camera person?
even the music is ok ;)
Stanners - on 07 May 2013
In reply to The Pylon King:
yea we were lucky to have Alex's dad rock up with his 1080p Canon and he took some footage from the ground. "ok" music? thats not something PK says very often ;)

In reply to Stanners:

I like most music but most of it seems really obtrusive on vids but the one you chose seems to fit quite nicely.

In reply to Stanners: Good vid, just one question: what did you find to put in the sac? Bivi gear?:-)

ahah I was thinking the same thing. Definitely would have given the belayer a bollocking if I arrived at a belay ledge to find one of those set ups!
great video to watch though, had been thinking of visiting avon gorge for a while but was dubious of excess polish with it being limestone and all that. Looks okay?

In reply to Rob Exile Ward:

Looked like drink/food for when they hit the top. Maybe shoes as well for the walk back down?
Stanners - on 08 May 2013
In reply to Rob Exile Ward:
We filled the sac with the essentials (mainly flapjack)and money for icecream at the top naturally. What a couple of fat gits we really are ;)

Cool vid. whats it like with a single rope on the route? much drag?
royal - on 08 May 2013
In reply to Stanners:
Cool vid. This was our first proper climb so it brings back lots of memories :) We were at our limit at the time and I've always thought in hindsight that nuts in the traverse back to the left are nearly useless if you actually fell on them!
Lil_Pete - on 09 May 2013
In reply to Stanners: So much fun on this route - good memories, cheers guys! Good luck with the exams :-)
Stanners - on 09 May 2013
thanks guys. single rope is fine on gronk, and those sideways nuts on the traverse are indeed pretty pointless! Unfortunately better actually do some revision this weekend rather than go climbing, at least weather has closed in a bit.
