/ 10 years for killing tandem couple

A topic of hot debate as always with drivers versus cyclists.
The killer of the couple riding a tandem in the South West has been sentenced for 10 years and six months. He pleaded guilty so this may have resulted in a reduction to term, but good to see a more appropriate jail sentence than a couple of years.

I wish we could move away fron this 'drivers vs cyclists' idea. A nasty piece of work has got something approaching a proportionate sentence for killing two innocent people. I can't see much to argue with, regardless of your chosen mode of transport.
