Have you seen the latest incarnation of the Mountain Forecast from the Met Office?

I reckon they think it's good because they've got a link to the SAIS.

I'll still be checking the MWIS and XC Weather (plus a few others).

In reply to Raskye: Yeah, I was shown it during ML training recently. Seemed to match our own forecasting pretty well, and was quite accurate that week.

It does seem bizarre and amusing that it focuses apparently on the "risks" associated with weather: so windy at the monent, lots of deadly risks, sunny next week, lots more deadly risks. It's a dangerous world wherever there's weather, so best stay indoors.
