/ Burgled in Leicester
Gutted for you mate. Did you have any insurance on your gear by any chance?
Check the facebook 'camera gear for sale' groups - some dodgy stuff gets posted on those.
I'm insured, thanks, and stuff doesn't bother me.
My Dad's watch, that was his Dad's before him, means I'm seething.
And going through my daughter's bedroom.
That is not on. Not on at all.
I know exactly what you mean, my dads house was burgled a couple of years ago, and from everything they got, my nanna's watch was taken. Obviously irreplaceable!
Scum of the earth!
Me to, I have a pocket watch , which is only worth a couple of hundred pounds , but priceless to me. I would concentrate on getting the watch back, but that could best be done by tracking down the cameras.
I guess you have a photo of the watch?
if so pass it on to the police and anywhere else you can think of.
(If it is gold, it may have been scrapped though)
