/ 10 day trip ideas in early June (my 40th)
As detailed in the title, with about 10 days spare any suggestions?
Multipitch trad/sport preferred, alpine also an option. I'm based in the North East of Scotland,
Just after some inspiration/unusual suggestions, cheers.
Btw I've previously been to, Picos de Europa, Dolomites, Siuranna, El Chorro, NZ and Oz (though abit far to travel on this time frame)
Alpine Road trip. Get yourself to Chamonix then work your way down the Vally towards Zermat in Switzerland. Single and multi pitch trad and sport all over the place. Plasire West is the guid book you want.
10 days in Arco Italy, chill next to Lake Garda, watch BASE jumpers hop off Mt Brento go climb. Again everything avalible big small trad sport and aid.
Thats what I am upto this summer anyway
Ive always Thought some of the coastal stuff in Ireland Looks Nice?
And a trip to Jersey and Guernsey?
Simple, Yosemite/T meadows.
Cheers for the suggestions guys. Pabbay is definitely on the radar now, the Alps, yeah good call too.
Yosemite, Tuolumne Meadows! The obvious choice for a big bash but would 10 days be enough to do it justice?
maybe not justice, but you will have a great time.
Romsdal in Norway?
My 40th birthday party: http://lightfromthenorth.blogspot.fi/2013/09/rock-climbing-in-arctic-norway-narvik.html 10 days is loads of time.
