/ New Boreal shoes - Marduk, Satori, Dharma, anyone tried them?
I've always been a fan of Boreal, they just seem to fit perfectly. I'm looking for some new boots, mainly for UK limestone sport 7a-8a. Anyone know how these fit? Particularly looking at the Marduk, does anyone know how stiff it is in relation to their other boots?
i received my Marduk on Saturday. These are, in my opinion, great shoes. The second generation of the zenith sole has a great friction and edging performance.
For me the fit is perfect. The tongue has getting smaller, so they are easy to put on.
Off the box i climbed some known, technical Fb. 7a boulders in them.
You can compare them to the Boreal Blade, but they are a bit more sensitive.
Best regards from Germany
That's good to know, do they size/fit the same as the Blade? I assume they are not quite as stiff as the Blade? Are they still a fairly stiff boot?
They are easier to put on than the Blade, although they have the same dimensions. I both have a pair of Blades and Marduk in 6.5
The shoe is fairly stiff, not as stiff as the Blade but stiffer than for example the Kintaro or former Lasers.
That's good to hear thanks!
