How exactly do they work? How are points given out? What is considered a 'correct' style of climbing, etc? Enlighten me, as we don't have such things over here.
Done the odd bouldering stuff etc, example, 5 points for completing problem on first attempt, 3 second and 1 if you do it after numerous etc etc, all within a time limit etc etc

Difficulty: He (or she) who gets highest wins! Over 2 qualifiers and a final generally.
But how are points given for style? Aren't competitors supposed to use holds in certain approved ways?

Style? It's not about style, Mr Mclure tried to use a bolt hole as a mono, mind if I was that good I would do too! Why don't you watch the Liverpool round of the BICC in december! Not far from you and you might enjoy it!
