Advent photo calendar competition
http://www.mountainjournal.net is putting together a christmas advent calendar. The idea is simple. To take part all you have to do is submit an image (photo, illustration or painting) based on the theme: 'living and playing in the mountains'. All entries must be emailed to me at kenny@alpkit.com along with your contact details and a caption by the 29th of November.

The chosen 25 (if we succeed to get 25 entries) will be displayed from the 1st of December with the winning entry on the 25th. There will be a tshirt for the winner! Entries will be limited to one per person.

I hope you will take part. Thanks, Kenny

In reply to alpkid: a t-shirt!
OP Kenny Stocker 16 Nov 2004
In reply to Ian Hill: Hi Ian, I realise it isn't a lot but if I could give away a tent I would be keeping it for myself since I need a new one right now. I am not wanting to devalue yours or anyone elses work, it's just supposed to be a bit of fun, not the next saachi award for mountain photography. Beside the tshirt is of a nice quality

In reply to alpkid:
How "clean" do they have to be?
OP Kenny Stocker 16 Nov 2004
In reply to Duncan Bourne: "clean" in terms of what!! if you mean image quality that is not something I am especially interested in. It is more about summing up what living and playing in the mountains is for you. If you scan in old scratched negs from 20 yrs ago then great lets see them. If you mean pornographic then no! these will be filtered out and returned only if supplied with a stamp addresed envelope

In reply to alpkid: You could have a look at the photo gallery in here and contact the ones that you are most impressed with. Just an idea.
