Buffalo Big Face Shirt

Hi. I've been doing my research and have decided to buy a big face shirt. Trouble is none of my local stores stock it so I'm going to have to buy online. I'm usually a size 40 but when I tried on a Mountain Shirt I found the 42 a wee bit restrictive when reaching high. The big face has extra room in the shoulders but I'm tempted to order a 44 just to be safe. Anyone have any experience with buffalo (in particular the big face)? Also, does the large hood fit a helmet(Ecrin roc) or do I need to go for an extra large and if so will it still fit on my 42/44 shirt? Any advice much appreciated. Cheers

Buy a size 40". I am a 36" in a Mountain Shirt and a 36" in the Big Face. The cut has been designed to fit a climbers shape. Also, get the expedition hood which only comes in XL and has been designed to fit over a helmet. Needlesports have them in stock.
