I have visited Revolution in Broadstairs in the past, and although small, and over priced, (£5 a session) it was at least worth a return. On my return, i was informed that the rules had changed there, and you now had to pay a one off Belay insurance of £5 on top of a £5 charge to climb, regardless to whether you intended to return there or not, Does anyone think that £10 for a small, low level climbing wall is abit expensive? I have been to many climibing walls all round the country, and this is more than double what most charge!

In the end we decided not to climb, as being students this was way too much for our budget. What do you think?

In reply to sce8:

What does this Belay insurance provide for you. If you are paying it, it must provide some sort of benefit to you?
