How high is Kilnsey - Malham - Gordale?

A good estimation of highest points would be really useful.

Rockfax wasn't too helpful.

I guess you're getting that from the length of totaly free - wouldn't the total height of Malham need to include the first bit to the catwalk and the terrace on top, nearer 80 - 90m I guess.

You are right. I believe that originally the route did climb the little wall above the beck for completeness, though I guess its only about 8m high. And of course the 60m for the routes is a 'guesstimate'; the Cove was always quoted as being 300 feet high, in't olden days, though that might be from the beck to the highest pint of the rim - which is a bit of a cheat.
