I'm fed up of getting too hot when hiking to crags and whipping me kecks off on a mountainside to change isn't really the ideal solution.

Anybody know any brands that do (nice) small ladies or maybe large childrens/teenage zip off trousers?

In reply to haze01:
Not to sure about the zip offs.
I favour the traditional approach, it adds potential spice to a nice days cragging.

some of us prefer to retain our dignity, Mr Walton. Of course, that soon disappears into tatters when we begin to climb, but even so...

Dear C

Some us don't sweat, so we don't get overheated.

not a shorts fan then Norrie?

or is it de rigeur to wear a kilt when it becomes sufficiently warm to enjoy a gentle breeze around one's knees?

In reply to Norrie Muir:

Dear Norrie,

You should know by now that girls don't sweat either, we glow. Sometimes its just nice to get some air on our legs.

Dear Sharket

I did not know you were a girl, however, it is ladies who don't sweat.

In reply to haze01: i guess just look in outdoor shops- especially those aimed at walkers, as prana dont do trousers like this! or wear either shors or trousers, and make mind up before leaving car.

I've had Phil Collins inside my head since the "Nonce sense" thread but now it's Bucks Fizz.

Are you OK today: - no capital in that post and a spurious apostrophe in ‘Figure 8’s’ earlier, are you ill?
 CJD 13 Jun 2005
In reply to karl walton:

I don't believe I mentioned figure 8s today.

I am succumbing to an urge to eat print material though.

maybe I *am* ill.

<gulp>

In reply to haze01:

Don't do it, the zip off trousers just aren't a good look! And just to prove my point, my Dad wears them and he has no taste whatsoever - because looking your best on the crag is, of course, your main priority!

In reply to CJD: Cool
I managed to get that post out of sequence.
Not for long though.

In reply to Danos: One of my friends got major chafage all up his upper leg from zip offs when we did ten tors, looked very painful.
 CJD 13 Jun 2005
In reply to karl walton:

the former I suspect.

bah, out-pedanted.
 Danos 13 Jun 2005
In reply to Oli:

Mmm, sounds lovely. Was it Ten Tors this year? How did it go? Did all three when I was at school/college!

Never. I would not aspire to such a lofty state..
