Yeti's in the alps

Having used a pair of Yeti gaiters in Scotland i was wondering if they would be too hot for the alps in the summer? Any suggestions would be great

I've no experience of this myself but would guess that for most stuff in the Alps in summer they would be too hot. Many people (everyone except the Brits?) just wear those short ankle height gaiters, and personally I don't bother at all.

I know this doesn't answer the question about the alps, but most people except the Brits don't have to worry about walking across lots of bog.

Have had 2 seasons in the Alps and never used Yeti Gaiters. Absolutely no problem with ordinary Alpine Gaiters.

Think they go by the name of "stop-tous".
