anyone else stuck in Araquipe at the moment?
and a warning to anyone heading this way. there are some sort of transport strikes on, so getting out to treks is proving difficult and flight prices to get out are rising.

it is all peaceful, and non threatening, so don´t panic. but we are rendered immobile.

Keep me up to date with your plans for Peru i will be down at the end of the month mostly around the Cordillera Blanca (Huaraz) area.
I will drop you a line nearer the time.
Hope all goes well for you and you don't have to wait to long for the next bus.

We escaped Arequipe this morning. and now in puno.
don´t think we´ll be near Huaraz though. off to Cusco on 12th.
