Going to be there later in the week, so any suggestions of bargain outlets gratefully received!

In reply to Max Gough: sod the arc't gear, get MEC's own stuff. I've their version of an arc't soft shell jacket (shoeller) which was around the £50 mark!

The MEC on Broadway is the cheepest and best shop i've ever seen. £2.50ish gets you membership.

they do seel arc't stuff, but their own brand stuff is awesome value and offers good posing value here in the UK.

In reply to Max Gough: while you're there, make sure you go to the the Cinnamon Bun shop on Alma between West 4th and Broadway at the other end of town. Easy bus ride on the UBC bus from anywhere down town.

The ArctERyx Fasctory Outlet is off Grandview one block east of Rupert.

The outlet is usually quite expensive though- worth a visit, but don't get your hopes up!
