Surely you mean ManU? Out of Europe, drawing with Everton, a midfield lighter than Hydrogen...

Don't you mean the 88-89 end of season game will old Michael Thomas sealing the title in the last minute?

Iain Ridgway 12 Dec 2005
In reply to Carpe Diem: Ever since united kicked them senseless the other year at old trafford and ended their unbeaten run, teams have had their number. With vieira fighting away they had some muscle, now they are in trouble, technically probably the best in the premiership still, but jus too weak.

Still love to see them when they are flowing, but in the premiership you always feel they can be beaten up.

Clearly Shearer agrees with you. How that tosser was still on the pitch at the end of the game is beyond me.

If that was Keane or Viera acting like that tw*t they'd have been off and hauled before the FA..........

In reply to Simon22:

Exactly. He's not slow to start whining when it happens to him though.

Thought he got what he deserved the other week when he got his lip split.

Then cryed like a baby about it after the match

Hah. I think it's amazing too. With the opposition cynically nutting him in the elbows time after time it's a wonder he wasn't stretchered off... (he's our thug, and we'll back him up).

And it's the Gunners who cares?

Toon toon!
