Going to Les Arc 1800 in january and was just wondering whether it is worth getting the area lift pass of just the local one. Both me and my sister can ski well but will most days need to be back at base to pick up friends who are having lessons??

Anyone been?

Get the full one. Best skiing is over towards Vallandry or Villaroger (best restaurants too). You can now link up with la Plagne, but I haven't done this myself. Friends say it's great, but most come over from la Plagne to ski les Arcs.

Well that is how it reads but I'm confused

Just checking that. When I went (2001) there were 3 areas in les Arcs (essential to get all 3). Best is to ask when you get there.

Working the season for some shocking company..There is plenty to do in Les Arc 1600-2000/paradiski- but the snow if fading and there are rocks to wreck good skis -off piste there is plenty of powder. The board parc isn't built yet.
