anyone else done it???

more of a jump than a stride....if ur only 5ft7 like me!!

loved it though!!

In reply to Peakphil: It's quite scary isn't it? Wondering what would happen if your foot slipped! The launch area on the matterhorn boulder is starting to get very shiny these days aswell (observed on a recent visit - the first in about ten years).

I've not done it, but I've made the bridging move and moved my hands across to the main crag, without pulling over. I'm 5'6 and found it to be a static-ish movement; however, IMO the secret is to 'launch' from lower - downclimb the Matterhorn boulder for a couple of moves and bridge across from smears rather than holds. Makes it more manageable.

Must stick a rope on and do it properly
