Heading down to the lakes tomorrow and was hoping to climb on Scafell on Monday. Heard it can take a few days to dry after rain. Anyone know what its been like over the last couple of days ? Conditions ? Cheers.

A mate in Carnforth said it'd tipped it down but that with 24 hours of breezy sunshine he'd be risking getting up into the mountains - the fells are dry as a bone generally (these are his views, generally sound...)
In reply to Pete.T:High crags were bone dry till this afternoon. I suspect that unless the weather craps out completely they will remain OK in the near future.
