You may have noticed that the yellow lines extend the full length of the clearway from the village to the farm. The pull in by the stepping stones and the layby back towards the village now have yellow lines.
But don't worry! It is just a contractor mistake and the YDNP have assured me that they will be back to reinstate the two areas' parking places.
However, they are aware that folk are extending what was originally space for three cars at each site. I saw nine cars last week crammed onto the verged by the stepping stones. PLEASE use the layby further along by the barn or get out of bed earlier! If there is an accident or one of the locals complains about access then the lines will be back and parking tickets will be issued.....and everyone will be parking in the layby by the barn!
