I am trying to get soft shell pants G2 or similar suitable for walking and skiing. Problem is the leg length is always to long. I am 5ft size 8. Can anybody suggest a suitable product. Or a good quality kids pant which will do the same job?

Bought a pair of shoft shell mountain hardwear syncro pants from USA, wonderful, shortish for me 5ft 4 great with ski boots or mountain boots. Uk 10 are a neat fit on me, so may suit your size 8 with room to put thermals under if needed. Not sure if you can get in uk, but mail order good and easy.

In reply to Sharon Stones: Paid £130 in total, think £180 is normal RRP. Have seen them on ebay worldwide, have also order other stuff form USA and not had to pay any tax, weird! Not sure how they work it out, items costing more have had no tax added sometimes. Oh they have full length zips, vent well too.
