Needing a new shell for winter walk/climbing/snowboarding, think im gonna have to go with eVent as it beat gortex fro breath ability.

The two jackets ive found so far are the Rab Latok Guide or Montane Superfly XT, both seam to get great reviews and be hard wearing enough that I won’t trash them, found them both for around £175.

Can't really decide between them, can anyone tip the balance or suggest any alternatives.

In reply to andymoin: I saw on another site that Montane superfly womens and mens are reduced to £85 at Rock and Run. Though come to think of it the superfly xt is a bit different isn't it?
